IT / Infrastructure Project Manager - New York 
 
Seeking a network infrastructure project manager from the financial services industry with strong Data Center experience. The role will focus on data center builds, network refreshes, core network expansions with a primary focus on Cisco & Arista technologies for enterprise Data Centers.
 
The candidate will lead the installation, coordination and refresh of Data Center infrastructure including, network switches, routers and circuit connectivity. The role will co-ordinate tasks with external teams to meet project objectives. The candidate will be responsible for gathering requirements and leading the deployment plan of new core network infrastructure. The candidate will lead all project lifecycle phases which includes hardware procurement, equipment logistics, installation, testing and turn-up of core network routers, switches. The candidate will be responsibility for all execution activities.

Requirements: 
- Comfortable working on-standard business hours [Friday evenings / Saturdays] 
- Ability to work on-site 3 days per week 

- 12-15 years of technology project management experience 
- Build Data Centers and network core infrastructure, switches, and routers. 
- Experience with Cisco and Arista hardware and understands how to partner with vendors for installation. 
- Experience with network installations 
- Experience with project lifecycle of network integrations, infrastructure build, data center builds and/or network hardware refresh. 
- Plan, coordinate, implement, and track deliverables related to the request. 
- Manage delivery across internal teams and third-party contractors/ consultants. 
- Gather technology requirements and partner with engineering and operations for high level design. 
- Responsible for managing delivery across internal teams and third-party contractors/ consultants. 
- Develop, track and coordinate schedule. 
- Manage Hardware deliveries, with vendors, including staging. 
- Create and Manage the Technology Change Management tickets. 
- Provide weekly status reports both internally and externally, as required. 
- Schedule UAT testers and BAU signoffs 
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Visio, and Project Strong Excel, Sharepoint, MS project, ServiceNow 
 
 
Skills Desired: 
- CCNA and/or CCNP preferred 
- Dark Fiber, WAN, LAN 
- Bachelor’s Degree + Must have experience within financial services and/or technical role at a technology hardware vendor
