Position is open to both Atlanta and Canada Offices

Geek+ is a global leader in robotic solutions for logistics. We develop Autonomous Mobile-Robot (AMR) solutions to realize flexible, reliable, and highly efficient automation for warehouses and supply chain management by automating various laborious tasks like picking, moving, and sorting. We've led the global AMR market share for three consecutive years, have been declared the world's no.1 AMR leader and became the first AMR warehouse robotics company going public to list on the HKSE. The North American headquarters in San Diego, California will continue to power our growth in Canada, United States and Mexico. The Innovation Center in Atlanta, Georgia will showcase the latest Geek+ technologies to the market.

Life at Geekplus

Plain and simple, we're a team of geeks who love technology and teamwork. We work together to meet any customer needs; we celebrate our wins and learn from our misses. The only thing better than seeing customer operations improved by our technology is seeing it happen at scale! We are biased to action, getting it done, and thinking differently about how we apply technology. We support each other and we're empowered to win. Our strength comes from our different backgrounds and perspectives.

The Job

As a Project Manager at Geekplus, you'll be the primary point of contact with our partners and clients who range from Startups to Fortune 500 players. You'll interact regularly to maintain strong communication with the clients and understand their needs well. You'll lead a team of Solution Engineer, System Engineer, and Field Operation Engineer to accomplish warehouse automation projects and bring value to our customers. If you're excited about robots and rolling out a complex system, we want you to talk to us!

Responsibilities

  • Lead AMR project teams through the design, planning, execution, and delivery of projects within the logistics industry, ensuring they meet agreed-upon specifications, budgets, and timelines.
  • Foster effective communication channels among project stakeholders, including clients, team members, and external subcontractors, to ensure transparency and alignment of project objectives.
  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders, acting as the primary point of contact for project-related inquiries and discussions.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to facilitate teamwork and ensure that all project elements are integrated seamlessly.
  • Utilize leadership skills to guide, motivate and mentor project team members, promoting a collaborative and positive work environment.
  • Implement risk management strategies to identify potential project hurdles and develop contingency plans to mitigate risks.
  • Conduct project planning including the scope of work, budget, schedule, internal resources, and subcontracting services.
  • Conduct regular project meetings and provide updates to all relevant parties, maintaining clear and consistent communication throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Ensure that all project documentation is accurate, up-to-date, and compliant with project methodology, company standards, and policies.
  • Continuously improve project management processes by incorporating best practices and lessons learned from previous projects.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience (minimum 2 years) as a Project Manager in the logistics or AMR industry delivering integrated hardware and software systems.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with various stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and team members.
  • Solid understanding of logistics processes and how AMR systems enhance operational efficiency.
  • Excellent teamwork skills, with a history of leading cross-functional teams to success
  • Leadership qualities that inspire team confidence and respect while encouraging a collaborative and innovative project environment.
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Business Management, or a related field; PMP certification is a plus.
