This individual contributor role expands Walmart’s Air Freight capabilities through CargoWise by connecting business and operational needs with scalable technology solutions. The role partners with Air Operations, Product, Engineering, business teams, and external partners to define and prioritize requirements, simplify processes, and drive capabilities from discovery through implementation and adoption. 
Success requires strong air freight and global logistics expertise, knowledge of transportation technology platforms, and the ability to lead through influence, navigate complex cross functional environments, and deliver measurable improvements in execution, visibility, scalability, and operational performance.
About the team:
The Global Logistics Operations Automation team drives technology enabled transformation across Walmart’s global logistics network. The team connects deep operational expertise with technology and automation to simplify complex processes, solve operational challenges, and enable scalable capabilities.
We partner across Operations, Product, Engineering, and business teams to translate business and operational needs into scalable business and technology solutions. Our focus is creating simpler ways of working, accelerating automation, strengthening technology adoption, and delivering measurable outcomes that improve efficiency, visibility, compliance, and execution across end to end Global Logistics.
What you'll do:

You will bring deep air freight and global logistics expertise, including freight forwarding operations and CargoWise experience. You’ll have a strong ability to translate business requirements into technology solutions, lead cross-functional implementations, and influence stakeholders across Operations, Product, and Engineering. You’ll bring experience improving transportation processes, solving problems with data, and driving operational transformation. A strong candidate combines logistics domain knowledge, technology implementation experience, stakeholder leadership, and a continuous-improvement mindset focused on automation and scalability.
