Job description


The OCI Supply Chain Organization is responsible for delivering the global logistics network that powers Oracle Cloud Infrastructure. The Orders & Logistics team manages transportation strategy, carrier operations, freight execution, and cross-functional supply chain programs that enable the timely deployment of cloud infrastructure across Oracle's global data center footprint.
Responsibilities
Oracle Cloud Infrastructure is seeking an experienced Order Fulfillment / Logistics Program Manager to lead strategic transportation operations and global logistics initiatives supporting OCI's rapidly expanding infrastructure network. This role serves as a transportation subject matter expert, driving operational excellence across domestic and international freight movements while partnering with cross-functional organizations to deliver scalable transportation solutions.
The successful candidate will have deep expertise in transportation management systems, carrier management, logistics operations, supplier performance, and end-to-end program management. This position plays a key role in supporting OCI's accelerated growth, large-scale infrastructure deployments, and continuous improvement initiatives through data-driven decision-making and AI-enabled analytics.
Key Responsibilities
Transportation Operations
  • Manage transportation execution supporting Oracle Cloud Infrastructure deployments across global regions.
  • Provide transportation oversight and operational support for increased shipment volumes driven by OCI expansion and large-scale infrastructure deployments.
  • Monitor critical shipments from origin through final delivery to third-party logistics (3PL) warehouses and Oracle data centers.
  • Coordinate transportation activities to ensure on-time delivery while proactively mitigating transportation risks and delays.

Data Center & Rack Transportation
  • Manage transportation support for Data Center Infrastructure Management (DCIM) shipments, providing shipment visibility and status updates from dispatch through final delivery.
  • Coordinate rack transportation activities from manufacturing facilities through delivery to Oracle data centers.
  • Partner with deployment, warehouse, and data center teams to ensure critical infrastructure arrives on schedule to support deployment timelines.
  • Escalate transportation issues and lead cross-functional resolution efforts for high-priority shipments.

Transportation Management Systems (OTM)
  • Serve as the Oracle Transportation Management (OTM) subject matter expert for the Orders & Logistics organization.
  • Drive optimization of transportation planning, execution, reporting, and system configuration within OTM.
  • Partner with IT and business stakeholders to identify system enhancements and process automation opportunities.
  • Develop best practices, documentation, and user training to improve OTM adoption and operational efficiency.

Reverse Logistics
  • Lead transportation operations supporting reverse logistics, including returns, repairs, RMAs, and asset recovery.
  • Develop transportation strategies that optimize cost, transit time, and asset recovery while maintaining service quality.
  • Partner with repair depots, suppliers, warehouses, and logistics providers to ensure efficient reverse supply chain operations.

Program Management
  • Lead cross-functional transportation initiatives involving Finance, IT, Trade Compliance, Tax, Procurement, and Supply Chain Operations.
  • Manage transportation-related projects from planning through implementation, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
  • Identify process improvement opportunities and lead initiatives that enhance operational efficiency, scalability, and customer service.
  • Develop executive-level reporting and communicate program status, risks, and recommendations to leadership.

Carrier & Supplier Management
  • Manage strategic relationships with global transportation providers and logistics partners.
  • Lead commercial negotiations related to transportation services, pricing, and contractual performance.
  • Monitor carrier performance using key performance indicators (KPIs) and service-level agreements (SLAs).
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives with transportation providers to improve reliability, cost efficiency, and service quality.
  • Support the successful integration and operational management of additional transportation carriers as OCI expands its logistics network.

Data Analytics & Continuous Improvement
  • Perform advanced data mining and transportation analytics to identify trends, capacity constraints, cost savings, and operational improvement opportunities.
  • Develop dashboards and performance metrics to measure transportation effectiveness, carrier performance, and delivery reliability.
  • Leverage AI technologies and advanced analytics to improve shipment visibility, predictive risk management, transportation optimization, and operational decision-making.
  • Drive automation initiatives that reduce manual effort and improve transportation planning and reporting.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business, Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • 8+ years of experience in transportation, logistics, supply chain operations, or global freight management.
  • Experience managing domestic and international transportation networks supporting large-scale technology or manufacturing operations.
  • Deep knowledge of transportation management systems, preferably Oracle Transportation Management (OTM).
  • Experience supporting global data center, cloud infrastructure, or high-tech supply chains is highly desirable.

Preferred Skills
  • Oracle Transportation Management (OTM) subject matter expertise.
  • Strong understanding of domestic and international freight operations, carrier management, and transportation planning.
  • Experience with reverse logistics and asset recovery operations.
  • Proven program management experience leading complex cross-functional initiatives.
  • Experience collaborating with Finance, IT, Trade Compliance, Tax, Procurement, and Operations organizations.
  • Strong commercial negotiation and supplier relationship management skills.
  • Advanced analytical skills with proficiency in SQL, Excel, Power BI, Tableau, or comparable business intelligence tools.
  • Experience applying AI and automation technologies to improve logistics operations and decision-making.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and executive presentation skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence cross-functional teams without direct authority in a fast-paced, global environment.

US: Hiring Range in USD from: $102,300 to $209,500 per annum. May be eligible for bonus and equity.

Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.
