Job description

We're seeking an experienced Regional Logistics Manager to lead transportation and logistics operations across the US and Canada. This role will develop and execute strategies that optimize service, cost, safety, compliance, and operational efficiency across a multi-site manufacturing network.


Key Responsibilities

  • Lead regional transportation and logistics strategy across multiple manufacturing and distribution locations.
  • Oversee domestic and international LTL, FTL, parcel, intermodal, expedited, ocean, and air freight.
  • Manage carrier relationships, contracts, RFQs, negotiations, and performance.
  • Ensure compliance with DOT, FMCSA, Transport Canada, customs, hazardous materials, and international trade requirements.
  • Optimize freight spend, transportation networks, and logistics processes.
  • Lead logistics KPIs, dashboards, continuous improvement, and cost-saving initiatives.
  • Partner cross-functionally with Operations, Supply Chain, Sales, Procurement, Customer Service, and Manufacturing.
  • Lead, coach, and develop logistics personnel.


Qualifications

  • 7+ years of progressive logistics or transportation management experience.
  • Experience managing U.S. and Canadian transportation operations.
  • Multi-site manufacturing experience preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of domestic and international shipping, customs, and hazardous materials regulations.
  • Experience with TMS, ERP systems, carrier negotiations, and freight management.
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, or related field preferred.
  • Lean Six Sigma, APICS/ASCM, CLTD, or hazardous materials certifications are a plus.


Ideal candidates are strategic, analytical leaders with strong communication, negotiation, problem-solving, and continuous improvement skills.
