OnTrac is hiring an Operations Manager in Logan Township, NJ!

Location: 701 Crossroads Boulevard, Door S, Logan Township, NJ 08085. This position is performed onsite at one of the Company’s operational facilities, unless otherwise specified in the job posting.


Shift(s): PM Friday to Monday from 1:30 pm to 12:00am. (Schedule subject to change based on the needs of the business)

Compensation: The expected starting base pay range for this position is $92,400 - $115,500, with full potential base salary range over a successful candidate’s tenure in the position of $92,400- $138,600. Actual compensation will be determined based on experience, skills, internal equity, and other job-related factors.

Employment Logistics: 

As the Operations Manager at OnTrac, you will report to the General Manager. You will play a pivotal role in providing strategic leadership as well as overseeing and optimizing the day-to-day activities to ensure efficiency and productivity. Your primary responsibilities will revolve around managing personnel, implementing strategic processes, and sustaining a positive work culture within the warehouse.

The Must-Haves: 

  • GED/Diploma required, bachelor's degree in Logistics or related discipline preferred
  • A minimum of 5 years’ management experience, 2 in a similar industry; or equivalent combination of both education and specific work experience
  • 6 years' experience in industry or related field; or equivalent combination of experience and education
  • Last-mile delivery or Small Parcel experience highly desired
  • Experience with an independent contractor model; strong negotiation skills
  • Ability to inspire a shared vision, empower and engage a team
  • Strong organization and time-management skills utilizing MS Office Suite

  • Guide and direct facility management in the development, production, promotion, and financial aspects of the organization's services
  • Direct, plan and budget preparation based on corporate goals and objectives
  • Evaluate the results of overall operations regularly. Systematically report these results to the Regional Operations and General Managers
  • Responsible for coaching, skills development, rewards and recognition, performance management and staff productivity for hourly and salaried positions
  • Ensure adherence to all aspects of the contract and work with Vendors and Independent Contractors for accountability to the operating agreement

  • You stay dependable and adaptable as business needs, staffing needs, and workload shifts.
