The Logistics Manager leads and coordinates logistics operations and is responsible for inventory management, product distribution across the U.S., and transportation optimization through full truckload (FTL), less-than-truckload (LTL), and parcel carriers. Ensures compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local regulations, including U.S. Customs, TTB, C-TPAT, and Free Trade Zone requirements. Supports ongoing network expansion, including future OTP product distribution and additional third-party warehouse operations.
Your 'day to day'
  • Lead and oversee logistics, transportation, warehousing, and distribution operations to ensure efficient and cost-effective product delivery.
    • Partner with Customer Service, Production, Purchasing, Quality, and Accounting to support business objectives and customer needs.
    • Manage and develop Logistics, Warehouse, and Traffic teams, ensuring daily shipping targets are achieved.
    • Coordinate transportation schedules, carrier assignments, and warehouse dock activities to support changing business demands.
    • Monitor inventory levels across multiple warehouse locations and align inventory strategies with production and customer requirements.
    • Direct inbound and outbound freight operations, including domestic and international shipments.
    • Negotiate carrier and transportation rates to optimize service and reduce costs.
    • Resolve transportation, shipping, and customer service issues while minimizing operational disruptions.
    • Manage shipping performance, inventory accuracy, and order fulfillment to meet productivity and service goals.
    • Analyze logistics data and evaluate transportation strategies to drive continuous improvement and cost savings.
    • Ensure shipment accuracy, customer-specific labeling requirements, and compliance with service expectations.
    • Maintain compliance with all applicable regulations, including TTB, U.S. Customs, Foreign Trade Zone, C-TPAT, ISO, and other governmental requirements.
    • Support ocean freight operations and international supply chain activities.
    • Lead staffing, training, performance management, and workforce planning to support fluctuating shipping volumes.
    • Drive continuous improvement initiatives that enhance efficiency, compliance, customer service, and operational performance.

Who we're looking for:
    • Bachelor's degree or 7+ years of relevant experience.
    • 7-10 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, including supervisory or management responsibilities.
    • Proven leadership experience in logistics, manufacturing, and shipping operations.
    • Strong problem-solving, analytical, communication, and decision-making skills.
    • Working knowledge of manufacturing operations, project management, and transportation/cost optimization practices.
    • Proficiency with manufacturing systems and Microsoft Office applications, including Excel and Word.

Annual Base Salary Range: $108,000 - $135,000
