Job description

Overview

A Deepwater Logistics Coordinator responsible for overseeing all aspects of logistics operations, including cargo movement, marine and aviation activities, and compliance with safety and operational protocols offshore.

Responsibilities
  • Act as offshore focal point for movement of all cargo, marine, and aviation activities
  • Coordinate cargo movement to and from offshore locations, liaising with Houston logistic center.
  • Enforce and utilize tools and systems to communicate daily cargo needs and movements.
  • Enforce cut-off time rules and deviations for marine operations.
  • Provide accurate manifests and necessary paperwork to vessel Captains, Supply Base, and Aviation counterparts.
  • Ensure compliance with BP Safe Work Practices for loading cargo onto supply boats.
  • Update cost information and other data in Open Wells and other systems for daily report submission.
  • Interface with HSSE, Cost Analysts, PSCM, D & C Engineers, and others as required
  • Work with deck crews to develop plans and timelines for offloading/backloading supply vessels.
  • Manage high-cost rental and CCU (Cargo Carrying Unit) tracking using appropriate tools and systems.
  • Assist offshore rig during drills as needed.
Qualifications
  • 5 years of logistics experience.
  • Strong knowledge of SAP, WellView, OpenWells, etc. within the drilling industry.
  • Proficiency in Excel; ability to multitask and handle heavy workloads.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Valid TWIC card.
