What You'll Do
Transportation Operations
    • Manage shipments from assignment through final delivery
    • Monitor load boards and ensure freight is covered in a timely manner
    • Source and secure carrier capacity within established rate guidelines
    • Maintain accurate shipment status updates within the Transportation Management System (TMS)
    • Track pickup and delivery performance to ensure service expectations are met
    • Identify delays, service risks, and transportation disruptions before they impact customers
    • Resolve transportation exceptions and operational challenges
    • Escalate unresolved issues while documenting action plans and next steps

Carrier & Customer Support
    • Serve as the primary point of contact for carriers and transportation providers
    • Build and maintain strong carrier relationships to support capacity needs
    • Provide proactive shipment updates, ETAs, and service notifications
    • Partner closely with account management and operations teams
    • Troubleshoot service issues and coordinate timely resolutions
    • Balance customer expectations, carrier relationships, and profitability goals
    • Deliver an exceptional customer experience in a high-volume environment

Reporting & Financial Oversight
    • Monitor shipment profitability and operational performance
    • Document carrier rejections, capacity constraints, and service issues
    • Support reporting initiatives and maintain data accuracy
    • Assist with transportation metrics and performance tracking

Qualifications
Required
    • Bachelor's degree preferred
    • OR equivalent work experience
    • Minimum of 1 year of experience in logistics, transportation, dispatching, brokerage, or supply chain operations
    • Experience within trucking, transportation, 3PL, brokerage, or fleet operations strongly preferred

Technical Skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, including:
      • Sorting and filtering data
