Materials & Logistics Manager, Scaffold Operations
Position Summary
BrandSafway is seeking a Materials & Logistics Manager to support scaffold operations in the Pasadena Division. This role is responsible for coordinating daily yard operations, material movement, inventory, driver scheduling, shipping and receiving, and communication between the yard, construction managers, operations, and job sites.
The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in scaffold, industrial construction, logistics, yard operations, or material coordination. This person must be highly organized, safety-focused, comfortable working in systems, and able to keep materials and drivers moving efficiently to support active projects.
Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate daily yard operations, including material movement, truck scheduling, driver assignments, and jobsite support.
  • Manage scaffold material needs for active jobs, upcoming projects, internal customers, and external direct-rent customers.
  • Partner with construction managers, operations, and resource leadership to understand material priorities and urgent job needs.
  • Schedule trucks for pickup, delivery, and returns to support jobsite requirements.
  • Oversee shipping and receiving paperwork for trucks entering and leaving the yard.
  • Review daily driver schedules and ensure drivers understand their first assignments each business day.
  • Lead or support daily safety meetings with yard employees and drivers.
  • Ensure proper JSA/JSP documentation is completed before yard work begins.
  • Monitor inventory accuracy and coordinate material availability for the division.
  • Communicate with field teams and job sites regarding material deliveries, pickups, and changing project needs.
  • Conduct periodic yard walks, job walks, and safety checks to ensure safe and efficient operations.
  • Track and report truck activity as required.
  • Support emergency or weekend job needs when necessary.
  • Work closely with internal resource, yard, operations, and construction teams to resolve material or scheduling issues quickly.
Qualifications
  • Prior scaffold industry experience strongly preferred.
  • Experience in industrial construction, construction logistics, yard operations, equipment rental, materials management, or dispatch coordination will also be considered.
  • Strong understanding of material movement, delivery coordination, inventory control, and jobsite support.
  • Ability to schedule drivers, trucks, and deliveries in a fast-paced environment.
  • Comfortable using computers, Excel, and operational systems to track materials and update information.
  • Experience with ProField or similar inventory/material tracking systems is a plus.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to work with drivers, field teams, construction managers, and operations leadership.
  • Highly organized, dependable, and able to manage multiple priorities at once.
  • Safety-focused with the ability to support daily yard safety expectations.
  • Stable work history preferred.
