About Us

Café Spice is a growing, multi-site food manufacturer producing ready-to-eat meals for national retail and foodservice customers. We are seeking a Logistics Manager to coordinate all inbound and outbound transportation for our food manufacturing facility. This position is responsible for scheduling deliveries, coordinating carriers, and ensuring on-time shipments of raw materials and finished goods.

Position Summary

The Logistics Manager is responsible for coordinating all inbound and outbound transportation for the facility, including raw material deliveries, packaging, and finished goods shipments. This role ensures that all deliveries and outgoing loads are scheduled, tracked, and completed on time while maintaining compliance with food safety, customer, and regulatory requirements.


Key Responsibilities

  • Schedule inbound and outbound deliveries

  • Coordinate with carriers and freight providers

  • Track shipments and resolve delivery issues

  • Work with production and purchasing to ensure material availability

  • Coordinate outgoing customer shipments

  • Maintain delivery records and documentation

  • Monitor freight costs

  • Ensure compliance with customer and food safety requirement


Qualifications

  • 5+ years logistics / transportation experience

  • Manufacturing or food industry experience preferred

  • Strong scheduling and coordination skills
