- Manage procurement activities for assigned materials, commodities, or product lines to support production and business requirements.
- Maintain accurate material master data, purchasing records, and supplier information in applicable systems.
- Negotiate pricing, lead times, and supply terms to support cost, quality, and delivery objectives.
- Monitor supplier performance and drive improvements in on-time delivery, quality, and responsiveness.
- Support cost reduction and sourcing initiatives in alignment with commodity strategies and operational goals.
- Manage scheduling agreements, vendor-managed inventory programs, and material availability to minimize supply risk.
- Build and maintain effective supplier relationships to ensure continuity of supply and service excellence.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Education and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Logistics, or a related field required; an equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered. In lieu of a degree, a minimum of five (5) years of relevant experience in purchasing, procurement, supply chain, or materials management is required.
Preferred Skills and Abilities
- Strong negotiation, planning, and analytical skills.
- Working knowledge of procurement processes, supplier management, and cost improvement initiatives.
- Ability to read and interpret basic engineering drawings and product specifications.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
