Summary: The Logistics Manager will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day logistics and warehouse operations at our growing manufacturing operations located in Salem, NH. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely leading a team of associates to receive, store, and ship raw materials and finished goods to all clients throughout New England.
Primary Responsibilities:
  • Monitor and oversee day-to-day logistics and warehouse operations at our growing manufacturing operations in Salem, NH.
  • Develop and implement strategies for maintaining optimum inventory levels for all raw material, sub-assembly, and finished goods across the network.
  • Create, use, and analyze metrics to evaluate both the performance of warehouse personnel and the effectiveness of warehouse processes.
  • Management of a warehouse team, which include undertaking training and personal development as necessary to meet organizational objectives. This also includes defining roles, scope of responsibility, and distribution of work as needed.
  • Provide complete oversight, leadership, and vision for the logistics function in support of key operational objectives including product quality, competitive costs, service requirements, asset management, inventory strategy, new launch support, safety, staff development, compliance, and productivity.

Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience managing internal/external warehousing operations in a multi-temperature food industry environment.
  • Considerable knowledge of domestic transportation and warehousing including current industry challenges and strategies to control cost while improving customer service levels.
  • Minimum of 5+ years of experience in Materials Management, Warehouse, Manufacturing or Supply Chain operations positions within a management capacity.
