Logistics Manager - Warehouse & Purchasing
Department: Warehouse
Employment Type: Full Time
Location: Wilmington, NC (PCSS)
Reporting To: Jamie, Operations
Compensation: $25.00 / hour
Description
The Logistics Manager is responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the warehouse. This includes purchasing, receiving, storing, and distributing products, materials, and equipment. The role also requires accurate inventory records, ensure a clean and organized warehouse, and operate warehouse equipment in a safe and efficient manner.
Your Location:
  • 6622 Gordon Rd Ste H, Wilmington, NC 28411 (Not remote/hybrid)

Your Schedule:
  • Full Time (40hrs/Wk) - We do not short your hours!!!
  • Mon-Fri from 7am-4pm

Your Contribution to Port City Sound:
Inventory Management
  • Incoming Shipments: Receive, verify, and process
  • Inventory: Organize and store in designated locations
  • Inventory Audits: ensure accurate stock levels in the warehouse and fleet vehicles
  • Warehouse Software: Update inventory records & track product movement
  • Vendor RMA's: Create & Process

Purchasing
  • Purchase commodity and non-commodity items
  • Create Purchase Orders
  • Follow-up and maintain vendor relationships

Order Fulfillment (For Internal Technicians)
  • Products: Pick, pack, and accurately prepare kits for on-time pick-up
  • Deliver to Field: Products, kits, or supplies (when necessary)

Facility & Fleet Management
  • Scheduling, overseeing repairs, and performing minor maintenance

Documentation and Reporting
  • Accurate Records: inventory transactions (receipts, shipments, and stock movement)
  • Reporting: Inventory levels, order fulfillment, and warehouse performance

Your Ideal Knowledge/Experience:
Experience:
  • Previous experience in warehouse operations or logistics
  • Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory software
  • Certification in warehouse management, logistics, or related fields is a plus

Work Environment:
  • Regularly required to stand, walk, lift, and move objects
  • Valid driver's license
  • Pass NC Alarm Board background check
