The Planner role is pivotal in ensuring the efficient coordination and optimization of transportation and logistics operations within the transportation and warehousing industry. This position focuses on developing and implementing strategic plans that enhance the movement of goods and services across various modes, including trucking, air freight, and commercial aviation. The Planner will analyze operational data, forecast demand, and collaborate with multiple stakeholders to streamline dispatch systems and improve overall transportation management. By maintaining a strong emphasis on flight safety and compliance with industry regulations, the Planner contributes to the reliability and safety of airline and airport operations. Ultimately, this role drives operational excellence by balancing cost efficiency, timely delivery, and customer satisfaction in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Transportation Management, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field; or combination of education and experience.
  • 5 or more years of proven experience in transportation or logistics planning within the trucking, or freight industries.
  • Strong knowledge of dispatch systems and transportation management software.
  • Familiarity with commercial transportation operations and safety protocols.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Certification in Transportation or Logistics (e.g., Certified Transportation Professional, Certified Supply Chain Professional). Preferred
  • Advanced proficiency with logistics management platforms and data analytics tools.
  • Knowledge of domestic freight regulations and customs procedures (Required); international (Preferred)
  • Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams in a transportation or warehousing environment.
