Responsibilities of a Delivery Driver:

  • Load and unload delivery vehicles
  • Drive safely and efficiently to customer locations, following all traffic laws
  • Deliver packages to customers in a professional and courteous manner
  • Maintain a clean and organized delivery vehicle

Qualifications:

  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record
  • Ability to lift and carry heavy packages
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Must be at least 21 years old
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
  • Must complete and successfully pass a 4-Panel Drug Screening (No testing for marijuana)

Additional Information:

  • Reliability: Employees are required to arrive on time and attend each shift that they are scheduled for
  • Weather: Work in outdoor conditions (rain, snow, heat, cold, light, dark, and more)
  • Smart Phone: Use a company phone for GPS Navigation, clocking in/out, contacting dispatch on the road
  • Time Management: Complete and deliver all assigned packages in a timely manner to fulfill customer promise
  • Safety: Follow all state laws, road, driving regulations (speeding, seatbelt, stop sign, etc.). Make appropriate judgment calls when operating
  • Customer Service: Respect customers and their property. Follow delivery instructions. Satisfy deliveries in a timely manner. Leave packages in a safe location.
  • Communication: Talk to management and peers in a respectful manner. Inform dispatch or a manager about issues on the road.
