Job Description
Engineering Services Network Inc. is seeking a Logistician/Engineering Technician to assist the ISEA for the DoD's 2M/MTR program. The candidate should have systems life cycle support knowledge leaning heavily on and with a thorough understanding of electronic component level engineering level logistics
Responsibilities:
You will be tasked with pulling manufacturer technical data and placing it into a useable format to be used for the DoD's Gold Disk program. Working closely with ISEA to research, retrieve and obtain manufacturer data in support of fleet sponsored test routine development. Must completely verify all elements match current materials on hand for revision level and engineering changes
Must be able to understand electronic component data sheets to cross reference and be able to find suitable substitute component part numbers for obsolete parts when required
Must be able to communicate well for e-mail and tele-conference meetings between Regional Maintenance Centers (RMCs), CNRMC, Surface Maintenance Engineering Planning Program (SURFMEPP), Naval Sea Logistics Center (NSLC), In-Service Engineering Agent (ISEAs), TYCOMS and Naval Sea Systems Command technical warrant holders
Perform well with other team members to achieve production goals and meet customer expectations. This position is key to the success of this program and fleet readiness
Job Requirements
Qualifications:
5+ years full-time experience within last ten (10) years in Navy Integrated Logistics Support and System Life Cycle Support areas of the DOD/Navy Integrated Logistics Support System
Active Secret Clearance
2+ years of experience working with electronic systems APLs and AELs
2+ years of reviewing electronic specific engineering technical data such as parts lists (BOMs), electronic schematics, assembly drawings.
2+ years of experience with the Navy Supply system and Navy 3M as it relates to parts acquisition, ordering and research (R-supply)
2+ years of experience with shipboard configuration (CDMD-OA) as it applies to the development and input of feedback and configuration change documents for shipboard configuration
2+ Cross reference electronic piece parts at component level within various logistic databases to identify suitable substitute components with NSN coverage
Specialized experience using various software programs and tools including:
Standard computer applications: Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft PowerPoint, Microsoft Access
Supply side applications: OARS, One Touch, CDMD-OA, MBPS, Weapon System File, Logiquest
Engineering Data Retrieval applications: for the locating, retrieving and verification of electronic engineering technical data
JEDMICS (Joint Engineering Data Management Information and Control System), MEDALS (Military Engineering Data Asset Locator System)
