Job description

The EDI Coordinator is responsible for monitoring and supporting the daily Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) operations between the company and its customers, vendors, and third-party logistics providers. This position works closely with internal departments and external business partners to ensure EDI documents are processed accurately and on time.
Responsibilities:
Daily EDI Support
  • Monitor daily EDI transaction processing.
  • Identify and resolve routine EDI transaction failures.
  • Investigate rejected or failed documents and coordinate resolution.
  • Escalate complex issues to senior EDI or IT personnel.
  • Monitor inbound and outbound document queues.
EDI Trading Partner Support
  • Assist with onboarding new EDI customers and vendors.
  • Support testing activities with EDI trading partners.
  • Update EDI trading partner profiles and contact information.
  • Maintain customer implementation documentation.
EDI Operations
  • Support processing of standard EDI documents including: 810, 856 850, 855, 856, 870, 875, 997, and 999
  • Verify data accuracy bee-ween EDI transactions and the ERP system.
  • Assist in resolving customer EDI inquiries.
EDI Migration and Implementation Support
  • Assist with migrating EDI trading partners from DiCentral to TrueCommerce Foundry.
  • Coordinate customer communications and implementation schedules.
  • Help execute testing and validate successful document transmission.
  • Document implementation results and update migration tracking logs.
Documentation
  • Maintain standard operating procedures (SOPS)
  • Document common issues and resolutions.
  • Update internal process documentation.
Experience:
  • Experience with EDI analysis and coordination
  • Experience working with EDI customers and/or vendors
  • Basic understanding of ERP systems
  • Basic understanding of supply chain, warehouse operations, or order processing.
  • Ability to learn new EDI software platforms
  • Excellent communication skills
