Sr. Logistics Coordinator
Department: Distribution Center Operations
Employment Type: Full Time
Location: Romeoville, IL - Distribution Center
Compensation: $22.00 - $29.00 / hour
Description
At Reliable Safety & Flow Corporation, our people are the driving force behind our success. We're currently looking for a Logistics Coordinator. The Logistics Coordinator is responsible for coordinating material flow in and out of the plant, helping ensure the flow of orders through the plant in a timely fashion to meet scheduled shipping dates.
How You Will Help:
  • Coordinate with corporate logistics on inbound container shipments from international vendors.
  • Schedule with corporate logistics on outbound customer shipments and transfers to other company warehouses
  • Provide customs clearance documents for outgoing international shipments.
  • Manage and update incoming shipment data on daily production schedule.
  • Receive all PO's material into M3.
  • Support shipping and receiving teams when necessary
  • Coordinate customer arranged pickups and Hot Shot (rush) customer shipments
  • Report/coordinate all daily shipment documents to Finance
  • Create Country of Origin documents for customers
  • Support customer service with airfreight quotes and specific shipping arrangements
  • The position will include performing additional tasks as deemed necessary.

What You Will Bring:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience may be considered.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications particularly Word and Excel.
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in logistics related role.
  • Must be customer-oriented and have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail is required.
