The position involves analyzing logistics data, coordinating with stakeholders, and implementing solutions that enhance operational efficiency across the supply chain.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Analyze and implement logistics plans impacting production, distribution, and inventory management
- Participate in the development of logistics strategies to improve product flow and operational efficiency
- Conduct distribution and network analysis to support logistics optimization initiatives
- Monitor inventory levels and analyze requirements to meet delivery schedules and order fulfillment targets
- Develop strategies to achieve desired delivery times and order fill rates
- Maintain accurate logistics records and prepare detailed reports for management review
- Coordinate logistics activities with internal teams and external customers
- Provide regular activity and status updates to leadership
- Perform additional duties as assigned
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) in Business Administration or a related field and 2 years of relevant experience
- In lieu of formal education, 10 years of progressive experience in a related field
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage logistics data and generate reports
- Effective communication skills for cross-functional coordination
- Must be a US citizen
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting logistics operations within a Metrology (MET) or technical environment
- Familiarity with supply chain optimization tools and methodologies
- Experience conducting distribution or network studies
- Prior experience working with government or defense-related programs
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
