Job description

The Reily Foods Company has a passion for flavor and has been providing iconic foods and beverages that create meals and memories for over 120 years! Our products consist of New England Coffee, French Market Coffee, Luzianne Iced Tea, Blue Plate Mayonnaise, Swans Down Cake Flour, Tiger Sauce, and Carroll Shelby Chili (to name a few) and can be found in foodservice and retail locations around the country.
Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Transportation Planning & Scheduling: Execute daily transportation planning and scheduling of outbound sales orders for distribution to over 600 customer accounts.
  • Freight Cost Mitigation: Ensure cost-efficiency of outbound freight by effectively utilizing diverse modes of transportation, spot market quoting, truckload consolidation, and cross-docking opportunities.
  • Shipment Tracking & Visibility: Maintain daily communication with carriers and freight brokers to track transit progress, resolve routine transit delays, and provide real-time status updates to the Customer Service team.
  • Key Account Service Delivery: Proactively monitor and ensure on-time delivery for key accounts to optimize service levels and minimize late delivery penalties.
  • Logistics Administration: Support daily administrative procedures, including manual shipment tendering, manual ship-confirming for non-advanced warehouses, freight invoicing, carrier claims, and customer chargebacks/deductions.
  • System Support: Support the implementation, integration, and maintenance of cross-functional supply chain software systems, including MRP (Material Requirements Planning), WMS (Warehouse Management System), and TMS.

Qualifications & Education Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • Experience in customer service, logistics, and/or supply chain preferred
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suites
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organizational capabilities.
