Position Overview

At Unified Door & Hardware Group (UDHG), the Project Assistant plays a vital role in supporting day-to-day project operations by ensuring effective coordination between internal teams, vendors, and customers. With strong organizational skills and attention to detail, the Project Assistant helps keep timelines on track and communication flowing-ensuring project accuracy, efficiency, and customer satisfaction. Key Responsibilities

• Follows up with customers on submittals, change orders, samples, schedules, and other job-related issues
• Assists with creation of change orders and internal change orders (ICOs)

• Assists with creation of purchase orders and follows established release procedures
• Follows up on vendor purchase orders to ensure timely delivery in line with project requirements
• Obtains and verifies vendor purchase order acknowledgments

• Assists with creation of packing slips
• Coordinates with the shipping/receiving department
• Communicates and ensures timely delivery of materials to the jobsite

• Support our values in the stand areas of Safety, Customer Focus, Teamwork, Integrity and being a Company of Choice for both employees and customers
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• High School Diploma
• Competency in computer software and administrative skills
• Organizational planning and time-management skills
• Attention to detail and accuracy
• Good office etiquette and overall professionalism
• Ability to maintain patience and calmness under pressure

Compensation

The listed pay range reflects the expected base rate for this position; actual compensation may vary based on factors such as experience, qualifications, and cost of living in the assigned market. This is a full-time position with competitive pay and benefits.

• Base: $ 20.00 - $25.00 per hour 
• Job Type: Full-Time
