Job description

Pace is seeking a delivery driver that is an Owner/Operator/Independent Contractor with their own CARGO or SPRINTER Van in our Montgomery, AL market. Join Pace's carrier network and grow your business with year-round, consistent, dedicated routes.
As a Cargo/Sprinter Van Delivery Driver in Pace's Preferred Carrier Network, you will make business to business deliveries to our customers on a multi-stop route in and around the Montgomery, AL market. You must own/lease your own Cargo/Sprinter Van.
Key Responsibilities for Van Drivers:
  • Load scan all freight before leaving warehouse and then take to designated stores on your route
  • Delivery scan of each carton required at store delivery
  • Report all discrepancies with deliveries in real time to local operations
  • Perform an appropriate OS&D to assist in mitigating against claims
  • Use Pace delivery app to track and document all deliveries.
  • Exceed customer delivery requirements and specifications.
  • Represent Pace in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Be presentable and provide excellent customer service to customers.
