Job Description

Seeking a Technical Publications Specialist to support the development, validation, and maintenance of aircraft maintenance manuals and technical documentation. This role involves interpreting engineering and logistics data, creating maintenance instructions, and supporting aircraft maintainability and product support activities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Interpret and analyze engineering, reliability, maintainability, and supply chain data to develop aircraft maintenance instructions

  • Write, update, and maintain technical publications for aircraft systems and components

  • Develop and revise Instructions for Continued Airworthiness (ICA) and logistics support documentation

  • Review logistics support analysis reports and maintenance procedures

  • Track task completion using workflow management tools

  • Perform quality checks on completed maintenance documentation and tasks

  • Support product maintainability and supportability initiatives

  • Validate maintenance manual procedures directly on aircraft

  • Coordinate with manufacturing teams to schedule validation activities

  • Interface with government customers to verify maintenance procedures and technical data

Required Skills

  • 5+ years of aircraft maintenance and/or modification experience

  • 5+ years of experience interpreting engineering data for maintenance manuals or technical publications

  • Strong technical writing and documentation skills

  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical data

  • Experience working with aircraft systems and maintenance procedures

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with aircraft maintenance manuals in a line maintenance environment
