Job description

Job Title – Logistics Customer Service Representative
Company Location – Compton, CA
Fully On-site, No Remote
Temp-to-hire
Pay Range; $22-23/hr. DOE
Job Summary of the Logistics Customer Service Representative position
Integr8staff seeks a bilingual English/Spanish Logistics Customer Service Representative to support customers by providing helpful information, answering questions, and responding to all concerns they may have.
Responsibilities of the Logistics Customer Service Representative position
Receive and process outbound orders by EDI system, phone fax, or email in our in-house WMS system 3PL Central.
Prepare routing information, schedule appointments with carriers and shipping documents that would include labelling information.
Create bills of lading (BOL)and review shipping instructions, forward or provide all paperwork to the warehouse shipping clerk
Speak with customers by phone/ email regarding returns, shipments, deliveries, and inventory status.
Notify the customer of shipping dates, anticipated delays, or any additional information that may be required by the customer.
Prepare any follow-up requests for shipments or deliveries to ensure delivery can be made by the specified dates required.
Make changes to or cancel orders/back orders ONLY if customer approves or requests to do so.
Process inbound returns as requested and forward shipping and receiving information via e-mail.
Send daily, weekly, or monthly reports to customer as requested.
Update the customers with any issues in a timely manner so we can come up with a solution
Provide the warehouse with all requirements specified for the accounts you are handling
Requirements of the Logistics Customer Service Representative position
High school diploma or equivalent are required
At least 2 years of logistics, trucking, 3PL customer service
Strong communication and problem-solving skills
Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced environment
Detail-oriented with strong follow-up and time management skills
Ability to build positive working relationships with drivers, carriers, customers, and internal teams
Basic computer proficiency and ability to learn company systems quickly
Bilingual English/ Spanish is required.
