Job Title: Logistic Coordinator

Location: 1 DNA Way, South San Francisco, CA 94080


Job Description:

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage inventory of laboratory supplies, chemicals, reagents, glassware, and equipment.

• Receive, inspect, document, store, pack, and ship materials according to safety and quality requirements.

• Follow GLP, DOT, HazMat, GNE, and other applicable regulations.

• Ensure proper handling, storage, labeling, and temperature control of materials.

• Support laboratory and operational teams by ensuring materials are available on time.

• Maintain accurate inventory records and receiving/shipping documentation.

• Troubleshoot operational issues and support process improvements using LEAN/Operational Excellence practices.

• Respond to customer inquiries and coordinate with cross-functional teams.

• Maintain clean, safe work areas and operate material-handling equipment safely.

• Complete required training, certifications, and documentation on time.

• Provide updates to supervisors and meet daily deadlines and project commitments.

• Work flexible schedules, including weekends, off-shifts, and overtime as needed.


Requirements:

• High school diploma/GED plus college coursework in biological/physical sciences, or an AA/AS in a related science field.

• Experience in material handling, warehousing, packing, or inventory management preferred.

• Strong organizational, communication, customer service, and problem-solving skills.

• Detail-oriented, safety-focused, self-motivated, and able to work independently and as part of a team.

• Knowledge of safe chemical handling preferred.

• Valid California driver’s license with a clean driving record.

• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs. and stand for extended periods.

• Ability to work 40 hours per week, with overtime/weekends as required.

• Must complete PIT training and demonstrate safe operation of material-handling equipment.
