As a Logistics Production Supervisor I/II/III for Greenheck Group, you will lead the daily execution of logistics and material flow operations that support manufacturing and customer delivery objectives. You will oversee warehouse and logistics team members, ensuring materials, inventory, and finished goods move efficiently, safely, and accurately throughout the facility. Success in this role requires strong leadership, operational planning, continuous improvement, and cross-functional collaboration to meet production schedules while maintaining exceptional quality and service.
WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING
  • Direct supervision of hourly material handling team members.
  • Set performance expectations, ensure team has the equipment and training to complete their tasks, monitor work performance results and issue corrective actions as necessary.
  • Execute daily logistics and material movement plans to ensure uninterrupted production and on-time customer shipments.
  • Oversee campus yard shuttle operations by coordinating driver schedules, equipment utilization, and the safe, efficient movement of materials, trailers, and finished goods between facilities to support production schedules and customer delivery commitments.
  • Monitor inventory levels, material availability, and logistics performance, recommending staffing or capacity adjustments to support changing business demands.
  • Coordinate inbound receiving, warehouse storage, inventory replenishment, material delivery to production, and outbound shipping activities.
  • Partner with production, scheduling, engineering, purchasing, inventory control, customer service, and transportation teams to ensure efficient material flow across the operation.
  • Utilize ERP and warehouse management systems to manage inventory transactions, labor reporting, material movement, and operational performance.
  • Ensure inventory accuracy through cycle counting, reconciliation, and effective inventory control practices.
  • Support Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) by aligning logistics resources with production schedules and customer demand.
  • Promote a culture of teamwork, accountability, engagement, and continuous improvement consistent with Greenheck's Employer of Choice initiatives.
  • Lead Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement projects that improve safety, inventory accuracy, warehouse efficiency, material flow, and operational performance.
  • Coordinate with maintenance to maximize uptime of forklifts, conveyors, warehouse equipment, and other material handling assets.
  • Develop cross-training plans to increase workforce flexibility and operational resilience.
  • Conduct interviews, onboarding, training, and ongoing coaching to build a high-performing logistics team.
  • Deliver daily, weekly, and monthly communications regarding safety, operational performance, quality, and business objectives.
  • Maintain warehouse organization and cleanliness while ensuring compliance with 5S, safety, OSHA, and company standards.
  • Conduct monthly safety meetings, enforce safe work practices, and maintain required safety documentation.
  • Prepare performance evaluations and support employee development planning.
  • Maintain good working knowledge of current labor agreement (where applicable) and any applicable government regulations. Utilize GPS/lean methodologies to drive continuous improvement.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert for logistics processes, warehouse operations, inventory management, ERP systems, and continuous improvement initiatives.

WHAT YOU SHOULD HAVE AS A LEVEL I:
  • 4-6 years of relevant work experience required.
  • 1-2 years of relevant leadership experience required.
  • 2 Year / Associate Degree in supply chain, operations management, engineering, business administration, management, or a related field of study or equivalent years of job experience required.
  • 4 Year / Bachelor Degree in supply chain, operations management, engineering, business administration, management, or a related field of study preferred.
  • Excel experience in pivot tables and VLOOKUP preferred.
  • SAP experience preferred.

WHAT YOU SHOULD HAVE AS A LEVEL II:
  • 4-6 years of relevant work experience required.
  • 2-4 years of relevant work experience in a supervisory leadership role required.
  • 2 Year / Associate Degree in supply chain, operations management, engineering, business administration, management, or a related field of study or equivalent years of job experience required.
  • 4 Year / Bachelor Degree in supply chain, operations management, engineering, business administration, management, or a related field of study preferred.
  • Continuous Improvement training is preferred.
  • SAP experience preferred.

WHAT YOU SHOULD HAVE AS A LEVEL III:
  • 6-8 years of relevant work experience required.
  • 4-6 years of relevant work experience in a supervisory leadership role required.
  • 2 Year / Associate Degree in supply chain, operations management, engineering, business administration, management, or a related field of study or equivalent years of job experience required.
  • 4 Year / Bachelor Degree in supply chain, operations management, engineering, business administration, management, or a related field of study preferred.
  • EPPIC, Continuous Improvement training preferred.
  • SAP experience preferred.

The starting base pay range for this position is $76,000 - $117,552 and may vary based on factors such as job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and performance.
