Job description

Logistics Associate

Catalent's Malvern, Pennsylvania site-known as Catalent Micron Technologies-specializes in particle size reduction and advanced materials science services that support drug development from early stages through commercialization. The site is a recognized center of excellence for API micronization, cryogenic and mechanical milling, and particle size engineering, offering integrated analytical services to characterize and optimize complex drug substances. With extensive capabilities for handling highly potent and cytotoxic compounds, the Malvern operation supports enhanced bioavailability and performance of oral and inhaled therapies under strict GMP and safety standards.

Position Summary

We have an opportunity for a Logistics Associate to join our team. In this role, you will manage the movement of all incoming and outgoing materials while ensuring compliance with cGMP, Quality Assurance, and Safety policies. You will handle supporting documentation and follow established procedures to maintain accuracy and compliance. This position is essential to keeping operations running smoothly and efficiently.

Shift: Monday - Friday, 8:00am to 4:30pm
Location: Malvern, PA
100% Onsite

The Role

  • Perform receipts of API and supplies in accordance with CMTI Standard Operating Procedures and client-specific instructions
  • Use site tools to enter receipt, sampling, and shipment information for sitewide use
  • Communicate daily with Technical Services and Quality Assurance to address receipt and shipment priorities promptly
  • Complete IATA and DOT certification to legally ship hazardous materials internationally and domestically
  • Handle Credo Cubes and other temperature monitoring supplies for temperature-sensitive materials
  • Safely load and offload couriers using a pallet jack, fork truck, or manually as needed
  • Perform transfer activities, including in/out requests from Operations and warehouse movement of API and supplies
  • Assist with cycle counts when necessary
  • Perform other duties as assigned

The Candidate

Minimum Requirements

  • High School Diploma or General Educational Development (GED)
  • No experience required
  • Ability to stand or walk for up to 8 hours per day
  • Ability to occasionally lift up to 60 pounds
  • Ability to climb steps or ladders and occasionally work from elevated platforms
  • Ability to wear a respirator and pass the required respiratory medical exam
  • Ability to work in loud environments and wear various types of hearing protection

  • Prior warehouse experience is preferred
