Job description

Position: Logistics Associate
Address: New York, NY 10065
Duration: 09/14/2026 – 03/14/2027 (26 Weeks)
Shift: Day/Evening Shift
Schedule: Monday–Friday | 37.5 Hours/Week
Schedule Notes: 7.5 hours/day | Monday–Friday | Three shifts: 10:00 AM–6:00 PM, 11:00 AM–7:00 PM, and 2:00 PM–10:00 PM.
Pay Range: $20-$22/hr.
Experience:

  • Healthcare experience Required.
  • Experience with supply ordering, inventory management, stocking, and supply distribution preferred.
Required Skills:
  • Microsoft Word.
  • Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Inventory management.

Job Summary
The Logistics Associate supports supply distribution and facility operations across clinical and non-clinical areas by maintaining inventory levels, ordering supplies, stocking equipment and linen, coordinating with vendors and ancillary departments, and ensuring assigned areas are safe, organized, and adequately supplied.
Job Responsibilities
  • Order and maintain supplies, equipment, and linen based on established par levels.
  • Perform inventory counts and place orders through the inventory management system.
  • Stock and replenish supply rooms, medication rooms, patient rooms, treatment areas, labs, and other assigned locations.
  • Deliver supplies and patient charge items within established timeframes.
  • Monitor backorders, identify overstock, and process returns when appropriate.
  • Rotate inventory and maintain proper storage of supplies and FDA-approved products.
  • Coordinate with clinical leadership, vendors, Facilities Management, Safety, Plant Operations, and Environmental Services.
  • Identify inventory and cost-saving opportunities and communicate recommendations to leadership.
