Job Description

We are seeking an Associate Logistics Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in stockroom operations, inventory control, and real-time transaction processing and a proven ability to maintain accurate, traceable inventory and execute timely material movements across multiple systems.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain accurate stock balances across assigned stockrooms.
  • Issue and receive parts, including shop floor issues, kit issues, and shortages.
  • Process receipts from the shop and Receiving Inspection, returns to stock, and inter-stock transfers.
  • Execute spares shipments and complete required certification documentation.
  • Verify cycle counts, reconcile errors, and investigate discrepancies.
  • Utilize up to 32 transaction screens and select appropriate transactions based on activity.
  • Monitor and record lot numbers to maintain traceability of all parts.
  • Interface with Program Analysts, Engineers, Dispatch, Model Shop, Receiving Inspection, and Assembly/Test personnel.
  • Train new employees on stockroom procedures and systems as assigned.
  • Apply proper packaging and handling techniques, including ESD-safe practices.
  • Identify and escalate deviations to standard practices, including cure dates and packaging requirements.
  • Perform housekeeping tasks to maintain a neat, orderly, and safe stockroom.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Proficiency with inventory control systems and multiple transaction screens in a real-time environment.
  • Strong attention to detail with accurate keyboard entry and lot traceability management.
  • Effective communication and collaboration with cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 65 lbs safely.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience in aerospace, manufacturing, or electronics stockroom environments.
  • ESD training and certification for handling sensitive components.
