Duties:
  • Travel within the US to serve as primary in-person representative with Clients, maintaining strong relationships and adapting to Client needs. Travel is around 75% of this role.
  • Coordinate devices being transported to SLM Operations Center in Skokie.
  • Package, count, and check for quality issues of devices at Client sites.
  • Schedule pickup of devices with 3rd party vendors including FedEx, UPS, etc.
  • Utilize gaylords, boxes, and foam for effective packaging of electronic devices.
  • Engage in regular weekly travel within the continental US based on business needs.
  • Adhere to SLM's Travel and Expense Policy, including the submission of monthly expense reports.
  • Efficiently and accurately count devices by type to forecast incoming devices.
  • Utilize ERP system for proper recordkeeping.
  • On days without travel, Pickup Associates are assigned to tasks in the Operations Center according to business needs.
  • Provide and maintain a quality of work that exceeds customer expectations.

Qualifications/Requirements:
  • Possess a valid U.S. driver's license.
  • Be eligible to rent a vehicle through the Company's approved rental car providers.
  • Maintain an acceptable driving record that meets the Company's insurance and risk management standards.
  • Be able to pass a motor vehicle record (MVR) review, where permitted by law.
  • Be willing and able to travel independently throughout the United States, including by air and rental vehicle.
  • Maintain the ability to obtain and use a company-issued or approved payment method for travel expenses, if required.
  • Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting heavy boxes, standing for extended periods, and operating warehouse equipment safely
  • CMV medical certificate is a plus.
  • Warehouse experience is a plus.
  • The candidate must be professional and possess excellent communication skills.
  • The candidate must be self-motivated and energetic.
