The Associate will support improving our transportation strategic initiatives to enhance processes within our Logistics Operations Center team. Responsibilities include transportation scheduling, tracking line hauls, negotiating spot market freight, managing exceptions and communicating cross-functionally to create seamless shipping execution across our network.

  • Report to the Associate Manager / Manager to manage, monitor and develop recovery plans for outbound loads
  • Execute outbound strategy - working across all distribution centers, third-party storage locations, cross docks, and vendors
  • Monitor, measure, and improve service level metrics, including on-time arrival and on-time departure
  • Determine root causes and ensure details of escalations are provided and accurate
  • Execute relabeling of boxes from label generation to pushing customer communication updates
  • Quickly and effectively analyze real-time data to provide recovery and contingency action plans
  • Run the daily Exception Management process, communicating potential delays and assigning boxes to be re-made, with the goal of protecting the customer experience
  • Track, organize, log and root cause major exceptions events; analyzing the impact of these events to weekly error data
  • Solve unique and challenging problems faced in a perishable supply chain
  • Become part of a passionate team that strives to develop innovative solutions to improve and grow HelloFresh's delivery network
