Job Description

EBAD seeks a Supply Chain professional for the position ofInventory Specialist, reporting to the Supply Chain Manager.This role will be pivotal in supporting the growth of our Electronics Center of Excellence (ECE).

Responsibilities:

  • Supports daily shipment receipt and material movement process.
  • Leads problem resolution to ensure accurate, timely accounting for incoming supplier inventory and inventory accuracy.
  • Support the weekly Cycle Count process. Manage count sheets, and reconcile weekly reports. Lead corrective action process. Report results weekly.
  • Work with Operations teams to create & maintain production and supplier managed Kanbans.
  • Works closely with Operations teams to manage Kitting program to support work starts
  • Work with Operation and Program team members to complete dispositions of excess inventory and participate in material close-out activity. Assist with reconciliation, disposal and accounting for Excess and Obsolete (E&O) inventory.
  • Support Customer Furnished Property (CFP) program and supplier inventory process. Leads problem resolution and performs reporting.
  • Back up for hazardous material and inert product Shipping.
  • Outside audit preparation and support.
  • Trouble shooting inventory issues and reconciliations.

Requirements:

  • High School diploma is required. AAS Business or equivalent experience is a plus.
  • Experience working in Aerospace and Defense is desired; preferably in a material management organization.
  • Experience using ERP systems to logically move and physically ship materials.
  • Inventory transactions, storage and cycle count experience required.
  • Knowledge of hazardous material shipping and movement experience desired. DOT CFR-49 and IATA Certification is a plus.
  • Experience in Microsoft Office products; especially Word and Excel.
  • Excels in a dynamic, changeable work environment. Energetic and positive. Ability to work independently. Processes an entrepreneurial spirit.
  • Must have a valid Driver's License and ability to transport parts short distances around campus.

Physical Demands:

  • Ability to safely lift and carry up to 50Lbs.
