Description
The DevOps / Cloud Engineer - Automation & CI/CD supports the design, automation, deployment, and reliability of secure cloud-based software delivery environments. This role partners with engineering, operations, and security stakeholders to build repeatable infrastructure processes, streamline deployment workflows, and improve the reliability, scalability, and security of cloud platforms. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with AWS, CI/CD pipeline development, Infrastructure as Code, containerization, Kubernetes, and modern DevOps practices.
Key Responsibilities
  • Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines to support automated build, test, deployment, and release processes.
  • Manage automated application deployments across development, test, staging, and production environments.
  • Build, maintain, and improve Infrastructure as Code using Terraform or similar tools.
  • Support AWS cloud infrastructure, services, and operational workflows.
  • Deploy, manage, and troubleshoot containerized applications using Docker, Kubernetes, Helm, or similar technologies.
  • Automate repeatable operational tasks to improve efficiency, reliability, and consistency.
  • Implement and maintain monitoring, logging, alerting, and reporting capabilities to support platform visibility and incident response.
  • Support security, compliance, access control, vulnerability management, and secure configuration practices.

Requirements
Required Qualifications
  • Experience supporting cloud infrastructure, DevOps, platform engineering, site reliability engineering, or software delivery automation.
  • Hands-on experience designing or maintaining CI/CD pipelines using tools such as GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins, or similar platforms.
  • Experience with AWS cloud services and cloud infrastructure operations.
  • Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, Pulumi, or similar technologies.
  • Experience with containerization and orchestration technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Working knowledge of monitoring, logging, alerting, and observability practices.
  • Ability to troubleshoot deployment issues, infrastructure problems, and operational incidents.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with engineering, operations, and security stakeholders.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to document technical processes clearly.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain any required customer, contract, or government security eligibility, as applicable.
