Qualifications:

•    Experience working near/on construction sites
•    Mechanically inclined will be considered an asset
•    Previous construction and operating experience will be considered an asset
•    Have a valid driver’s license
•    Punctual and reliable/willing to travel
•    Willing to work shift work/weekends

Responsibilities:

•    Operate loader in a safe and efficient manner and ability to perform physical labour
•    Stockpile material for operations
•    Load trucks (internal/external) with aggregates
•    Perform daily maintenance
•    Clean and lubricate equipment and refill equipment tanks
•    Conduct pre-operational checks on equipment; complete maintenance records and daily equipment log
•    Other duties as assigned

Day in the Life

We’re on the hunt for a Loader Operator for our Crushing team. You’ll be the powerhouse behind the controls of a variety of large machinery including skid steers and front end loaders. From operating and handling various construction tools and equipment, to shoveling in and around belts and crushers, you will have a complete understanding of our aggregate division. You’ll also be responsible for performing all fluid level checks and conducting routine maintenance on the equipment, cleaning, servicing, and performing minor repairs to ensure optimal performance. Conducting pre-operational checks on equipment, completing maintenance records, and daily equipment logs will also all be crucial to the job.
