Job description

We are seeking motivated and licensed 'Class A Drivers' to join our team! You will be responsible for safely operating our truck with a capacity of at least 26,000 pounds gross vehicle weight. If you have experience with gravel trains, leads and flow-boys, D & L Contracting co is the place to be! At our company, we are always looking for hard working drivers. We work all over Metro Detroit, servicing many construction companies. D & L offers TOP PAY dependent on experience and work ethic. Responsibilities:
• Safely operate a heavy or tractor-trailer truck/18 speed
• Dumping loads/asphalt-paving
• Properly track and document activity log
• Report any issues or incidents to dispatch
• Pre-Trip and Post-trip logs
• Maintaining a clean cabin
• Daily check of tractor’s fluid levels
• Fueling up tractors at end of work day
• Long Hours
• Weekend Work (Alternative Work Schedule) 
Qualifications:
• Previous experience in truck driving or other related fields
• Commercial driver's license
• Ability to handle physical workload
• Strong work ethic
• Able to drive gravel trains, flow boys, leads
• Pass a DOT regulated drug test
• Pass an employer road test. (PAY NEGOTIATED DAY OF ROAD TEST)
• Paid holidays/vacation after 1 year service
