PT/FT Cross-Trained Dental Assistant

Emergency Dental Care USA

Farmers Branch, TX • On-site

$23 - $28/hr

Part-time

Re-posted 4 days ago

Job description

Certified RDA needed for full-time or part-time duty at extended-hours practice. Cross-trained is preferred since you will have the primary duty of front-office, but your experience with back-office will give you a sound understanding of what is required of the office overall, not to mention your ability to occasionally pitch in for back-office as required. The PT position we need is for weekends and possibly some weeknights. The FT position would likely be limited to mostly weekdays.

Must be a certified RDA with the state of TX, with at least 2 years of on-the-job experience in a private dental practice setting. Please do not apply if you don't have certification or dental assisting/front-office experience.
Must also have experience with:
  • Dentrix.
  • Treatment plan presentation.
  • Office patient management protocols.
  • Professional temperament.
  • Experience with high-production treatment environments.
  • Reliable work history.

This is a laid-back office environment with great employees. We work one doctor on call at a time. We leverage digital equipment, including sensors and CBCT. We focus a great deal on high-production treatment, which results in fewer patients per day. We do not take Medicaid. We are looking for a competent, honest, hard-working, creative addition to our team who inspires professionalism in others and sets lofty, yet realistic goals for success.
