Job Description

A Melbourne, Florida based client is looking for an experienced and collaborative Rheumatologist to join an innovative multidisciplinary practice. An ideal candidate has a strong work ethic, is goal-oriented, and thrives in a fast-paced environment.

Required Qualifications

  • Graduate of an accredited medical school and residency
  • Active FL medical license
  • Board certification or eligible in rheumatology
  • Active DEA certification
  • CPR certification

Responsibilities

  • Provide rheumatology care including diagnosis, treatment, follow-up, and discharge
  • Provide patient referrals to other providers as appropriate
  • Maintain legible, legal documentation in patient charts as directed by department policies
  • Participate in continuing education to stay abreast on new techniques and procedures in the field of rheumatology
  • Accurately code, ensure prior authorization for procedures, and document all encounters
  • Adhere to state and facility telehealth guidelines if applicable
