Description:
Client is seeking an experienced, certified Neonatal Nurse Practitioner to provide per diem coverage.
This is an opportunity to help shape a growing NICU program that prioritizes keeping families together, close to home.
Enjoy 16-hour shifts in a collaborative care model with Neonatologists and OB Clientists.
Malpractice insurance with tail coverage is provided.
Be part of building a new NNP program from the ground up.
Staffing model includes 2 Neonatologists and 3 NNPs.
Responsibilities include daytime collaboration with Neonatologists.
Nighttime in-house coverage will be provided, with a Neonatologist on call with a 30-minute response time.
Attendance at deliveries is required, along with education of RN/RT teams as volume and acuity increase.
The NICU is an 8-bed Level III unit with 10 LDR couplet care rooms.
The average daily census is 9 to 11 (NICU/Nursery) with approximately 1,250 annual deliveries.
In-house OB Clientists are part of the care model.
