Radiologic Technologist (Job ID: 60721)

Radiologic Technologist - Ortho

Part-time, 20 hours

Schedule: Monday-Friday 7:30am-4:00pm Variable

623 School Drive, Wadsworth

Summary

Operates radiologic equipment to obtain diagnostic radiographs. Ensures that all aspects of patient records are processed properly to initiate procedure results in a timely manner. Performs other assigned duties as training and skills allow.

Formal Education Required
  • Graduate of an A.M.A approved school of Radiologic Technology.
  • Registered or registry eligibility with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists
  • Must be licensed as a Radiographer by the State of Ohio.
Experience & Training Required
  • Successful completion of training to perform other radiology procedures (e.g., select C.T. procedures, etc.).
Other Skills, Competencies and Qualifications
  • Ability to appropriately communicate with patients, physicians and hospital employees.
  • Ability to calibrate and operate equipment, properly position patients and to apply and adjust restraining devices. Ability to lift and position patients.
  • Ability to initiate CPR (CPR Certification).
  • Ability to utilize hospital and radiology computer system and file system.
  • Population Specific Competency: Ability to effectively interact with populations of patients/customers with an understanding of their needs for self-respect and dignity.

The salary range on this job posting/advertising is base salary exclusive of any bonuses or differentials. Many factors, such as years of relevant experience and geographical location are considered when determining the starting rate of pay. Please keep in mind that the range that is listed is the full base salary range. Hiring at the maximum of the range would not be typical.
