Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain high-performance backend services using Java, Spring Boot, and Microservices.
- Develop secure and scalable RESTful APIs and event-driven solutions leveraging Kafka and message queues.
- Integrate and optimize AI agent workflows (e.g., Copilot, Amazon Q) to automate and enhance engineering processes.
- Collaborate closely with front-end teams to deliver seamless, interactive user experiences.
- Deploy, monitor, and manage applications on AWS Cloud using modern deployment strategies.
- Ensure code quality through rigorous unit testing, E2E frameworks, and code reviews.
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for streamlined development and release cycles.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve issues to ensure high application availability and responsiveness.
- Stay at the forefront of backend and AI technology trends to drive continuous improvement.
Required Skills and Experience
- 8+ years as a Java Developer focused on backend systems
- Expertise in Java, Spring Boot, Microservices Architecture
- Strong experience with RESTful APIs, Kafka/message queues, event-driven systems
- Practical knowledge of AWS cloud services and cloud deployment strategies
- Hands-on with CI/CD pipelines, build tools, and DevOps practices
- Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and container orchestration
- Familiarity with SQL (Postgres) and NoSQL databases
- Proficient in testing frameworks and E2E testing methodologies
- Skilled with Git version control
- Direct experience integrating and leveraging AI agent workflows (Copilot, Amazon Q)
- Agile development environment experience
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Preferred Skills
- Experience with GraphQL APIs
- Exposure to complex, large-scale distributed backend systems
