Locum Tenens – Physician – OB/GYN

Location: Tiffin, Ohio

Join a supportive hospital team providing L&D, ER/GYN, and call coverage with flexible coverage dates throughout the year.

Position Highlights

Hospital-based ER/GYN and Labor & Delivery call Work alongside 2 OB/GYN Physicians and 5 Certified Nurse Midwives Epic EMR 10 LDRP beds, 3 Postpartum beds, 1 Triage bed 40–50% Gynecology | 1–4 GYN surgeries per day 15–35% C-section rate Emergency temporary privileges available for qualified providers with an active OH license & DEA

Coverage Dates

August 13–17 August 28–31 September 4–8 October 2–5 October 16–19 November 6–9 December 4–7 December 23–26 January 2–4

Practice Details

Labor & Delivery, ER/GYN, and call coverage Average 2–5 nursery admissions per day Newborn census: 3–4 daily Normal newborn nursery with 12 beds Credentialing timeframe: 60–90 days

Required Skills

Must independently perform C-sections Must perform all OB/GYN surgical procedures, including scheduled D&C procedures

Requirements

Board Certified in OB/GYN Active Ohio Medical License NRP & ACLS Certifications Flu Vaccine Required COVID Vaccine Preferred Must have availability matching the requested coverage dates Recent NPDB Self-Query (within 30 days) required at presentation
