Quick Facts Location: Dayton, OH (Children’s Plaza) Start Date: 04/28/2026 End Date: 11/16/2026 Shift: Monday - Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM Hours per Week: 35 Employment Type: Locum Tenens License/Certs: Ohio Medical License, DEA, Board Certification in Anesthesiology preferred Experience: Prior pediatric anesthesiology experience preferred Pay & Benefits Hourly Rate: $0.00 (pay package discussed upon application) Benefits include: Competitive pay packages Weekly pay via direct deposit Medical benefits (W-2) Robust referral bonus program Paid sick time in accordance with laws Licensure, certification, travel, and other reimbursements when applicable What You’ll Do Provide pediatric anesthesiology coverage in hospital-based surgical and pain management settings Manage a high volume of cases (50-60 per day) across neonatal to adult patients Supervise Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists (CRNAs) in a care team model Collaborate with a team of 22 anesthesiologists, RNs, surgical techs, PAs, and surgeons Prepare anesthesia carts (no responsibility for this at this facility) Support emergency and trauma cases in a Level 1 trauma center environment Ensure patient safety and compliance with hospital protocols What You Need Required: Ohio medical license or eligibility to obtain one DEA registration Certification in anesthesiology (board certified or eligible) Ability to supervise CRNAs Experience treating neonatal to adult patients Preferred: Prior hospital-based anesthesiology experience in a Level 1 trauma setting About the Assignment Join a dedicated team at a leading Ohio hospital in Dayton, providing vital anesthesiology services across a large, busy surgical environment.
