Job description

Work Schedule: Day Shift, Monday – Friday (8am-5pm) Must be able to work overtime, any shift, and weekends as required. Travel: 30% of the time. Position Details: Working from drawings, blueprints, sketches, written procedures, planned work orders, technical work orders, work cards and/or any other authorized reference material as required to complete assigned work.
Adjust, repair, or replace malfunctioning components or assemblies, using hand tools and/or soldering irons.
Assemble components such as switches, electrical controls, and junction boxes, using hand tools and soldering irons.
Connect components to assemblies such as radio systems, instruments, magnetos, inverters, and in-flight refueling systems, using hand tools and soldering irons.
Install electrical and electronic components, assemblies, and systems in aircraft, using hand tools, power tools, and/or soldering irons.
Interpret flight test data in order to diagnose malfunctions and systemic performance problems.
Lay out installation of aircraft assemblies and systems, following documentation such as blueprints, manuals, and wiring diagrams.
Test and troubleshoot instruments, components, and assemblies, using circuit testers, oscilloscopes, and voltmeters.
Assemble prototypes or models of circuits, instruments, and systems so that they can be used for testing.
Coordinate work with that of engineers, technicians, and other aircraft maintenance personnel.
Keep records of maintenance and repair work.
Have experience and the ability to perform annual inspections/phase inspections related to avionics. Qualification Requirements: 5+ years recent years of troubleshooting and repair along with maintenance experience preferable on King Air, Caravans, Corporate Aircraft, and GA aircraft like Piper, Cessna.
Strong understanding with DOD aircraft TO, processes & procedures.
Be able to read and interpret schematics & blueprints.
Must be able to be certified to operate self-propelled vehicles such as forklifts, scissor lifts, boom lifts and aircraft tow vehicles. Requires flight line physical.
Must have experience with Pitot Static Testing under these FAR regulations- CFR 91.411 and CFR 91.413.
You must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
Must be able to read and write the English Language
Must be able to pass pre-employment background, drug test, & medical screening, subject to FAA requirements and random substance abuse screening.
Must be a US citizen.
Must have a A&P license
Must have basic tools prior to starting to work; tool list will be provided. Tools must be shadowed and engraved.
Need to be able to Travel (Valid Passport)
