Job description

JOB RESPONSIBILITY:
- Work under the supervision/guidance of the Metal Shop Supervisor

- Setup/operate screw machines/lathes/etc. to manufacture parts per print

- Take approved material from stock as per job/shop order/print

- Co-operate with other department/supervisors to coordinate operations between/within

Departments

- Make sure all the parts are checked/approved by QC

- Keep machine shop and its machinery clean/maintained

- Move parts for next operation/department

SPECIAL TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Ensure that all the screw machine/lathes/shop equipment is in proper working

order/lubricated/maintained

- Due to the nature of our business, additional tasks and responsibilities may be assigned

SUBSTITUTION:

- According to the substitution regulation of our current organization chart

COMPETENCIES/AUTHORITIES:

- Lathe machine setup/operator has unrestricted access to all customer data, areas and

documents necessary to manufacture goods
