THE WORK
Industrial Maintenance Mechanic HVAC
Operate machine tools to fabricate parts as necessary.
Install and troubleshoot all utilities associated with the manufacturing process.
Must be proficient with computer and automated controls.
General Maintenance Mechanic tasks include any activity needed for maintaining the plant facilities and equipment.
The successful candidate will perform general maintenance and service functions as required.
Duties may include, but are not limited to: mechanical, electrical welding, pipe fitting, HVAC, carpentry and painting.
Install, repair, maintain and fabricate manufacturing equipment and perform other general maintenance and service functions.
Duties include, but are not limited to mechanical and electrical repairs and maintenance, welding, pipefitting, air conditioning, carpentry work and painting.
Perform periodic inspections and tests and report findings. Receives general instructions from supervisors and notice of service required from supervisors and other plant personnel.
Works from blueprints, sketches and oral instructions and specifications.
Uses all hand tools, power tools, and other equipment necessary for completion of assignments.
May direct other employees assigned to the job.
Must have a primary skilled trade of HVAC and a secondary skilled trade, one of which must be electrician, carpenter, pipe fitter, maintenance welder or manufacturing machine repair.
Must be able to operate material handling equipment and rigging equipment. A working knowledge of machine tools and welding is a plus.
