Standard Job Description
You will be the Sr Calibration Technician for the Calibration Team. Our team is responsible for ensuring measurement accuracy and reliability across all test equipment.
What You Will Be Doing
As the Sr Calibration Technician you will be responsible for calibrating and maintaining a wide range of test and measurement instruments.
Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
  • Calibrate electronic test and signal generating equipment to meet standards.
  • Perform adjustments, maintenance, and repairs on electromechanical and optical measuring instruments.
  • Develop and execute calibration sequences, methods, and procedures based on specifications and drawings.
  • Disassemble, clean, and replace defective components of pressure gauges and tension meters.
  • Monitor quality and verify compliance using statistical process control.

MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access. The selected candidate must be able to obtain a Secret clearance. A company-sponsored interim Secret clearance is required to start.
Basic Qualifications
  • Ability to install, maintain, troubleshoot, and calibrate instrumentation and control systems on process equipment
  • Ability to complete scheduled and unscheduled work orders and preventive maintenance duties while completing required documentation
  • Experience working with calibrated instruments, both mechanical and electronic/electrical
  • Ability to work without oversight
  • Troubleshooting experience and skills

Desired Skills
  • Experience using various automation platforms (Met/Cal, Lab-view, Compass Indysoft)
  • Experience in RF calibrations
  • Experience in ESD certifications
  • Experience working within an ISO/IEC 17025 acredited laboratory

Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $47100.00 - $87500.00

Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
