Lockheed Martin is seeking a highly motivated Associate Project Engineer to support the implementation of the Upper Tier Integrated Air & Missile Defense (UTIAMD) THAAD Development program.
The Upper Tier Integrated and Air Missile Defense (UTIAMD) THAAD Development Program Area is responsible for the implementation of THAAD Weapon System and Component design, development, integration, and test. Development efforts include, but are not limited to, development of new Weapon System capabilities, hardware redesigns and changes due to obsolescence, cost reduction initiatives, technology insertion, and threat based performance enhancements.
This position will work closely with the THAAD Development leadership team to coordinate THAAD Program performance information and develop associated presentation materials. The selected candidate will prepare program performance information for all THAAD Development program internal and external customer meetings, ensuring consistent data and a common message across all reporting venues and adhering to the program reporting business rhythm. The selected candidate will also champion the THAAD Lessons Learned process, participating in various program forums to identify lessons learned, and partnering with functional stakeholders to ensure those lessons are codified into the THAAD lessons learned system.
The ideal candidate will have a technical or finance background, demonstrated excellent communication and organizational skills, and data analysis experience. The successful candidate will also be a self-starter, able to work independently and as part of a team.
Responsibilities:
