Lockheed Martin Aeronautics in Marietta, Georgia is seeking a full-time Early Career Aeronautical Engineer for Thermodynamics. In this role, you will be determining and defining the thermal profiles for the structure, fluids, and electronic systems onboard the aircraft. Conduct analyses to ensure that the aircraft and systems are adequately protected against design temperature exceedances, humidity, icing, and explosive or corrosive environments. The scope of analyses includes thermodynamic cycle modeling, heat transfer, fluid flow, pressure, and thermal management system performance analyses. The successful candidate will have experience and/or knowledge of aeronautical engineering, model-based design software, MATLAB.
Must be a US Citizen; this position will require a government security clearance. This position is located at a facility that requires special access.
