Description:- Perform a variety of electrical trade functions such as the installation, maintenance, and repair of equipment for the generation, distribution or utilization of electric energy.
- Locates, troubleshoots and repairs electrical systems and equipment to a component level by using a variety of tools, and measuring and testing instruments.
- Work involves the following - installation, repair and maintenance on a variety of electrical equipment such as transformers, switchboards, Lighting and controllers, power distribution units, circuit breakers, motors, VFD, heating units, conduit systems, and other electrical equipment and components.
- Working with and without blueprints, drawings, layouts, schematics or other specifications in order to make repairs, and upon job completion provides as-built drawings.
- Tests and replaces lead acid batteries for uninterrupted power systems (UPS) and other equipment.
- Normal work is on 480 volt or less systems and equipment, occasional closed door switching on metal clad medium voltage (13.8KV) equipment.
- Uses test equipment such as multi-meters, rotation meters, micro-ohm meters, and other test equipment to diagnose and validate repairs.
- Performs routine cleaning and housekeeping of all work areas.
Basic Qualifications:
The candidate must be certified and have extensive knowledge and experience with all types of electrical equipment, distribution systems and practices. Candidate must possess experience in maintenance practices and proven trouble shooting ability. Also must possess a valid state of Colorado Journeyman Electrician's license and be a graduate of a state certified electrical apprentice program. Generally requires minimum of 8 years of construction and facility maintenance work experience within the electrical trade discipline.
Desired Skills:
Able to work in a team setting, good verbal and computer skills, proven maintenance and troubleshooting experience, high quality work and propensity for patience. Experience with generators, UPS and low voltage switchgear including draw out circuit breakers is a plus.
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 9x80 every other Friday off
